The Finger Lakes Community College men's basketball team split its most recent two-game stretch, earning a 69–62 road win at Roberts Wesleyan JV on November 25th before falling 84–61 at home to Erie Community College last evening.

The Lakers delivered one of their most complete efforts of the season in a 69–62 road victory, shooting 49% from the floor and maintaining control throughout both halves.

Ian Florence (Rochester, N.Y./McQuaid Jesuit) and Joe Caito (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) led the way with 17 points each. Florence added 7 assists and 3 made threes, while Caito added 7 rebounds.

Damari Davis (Rochester, N.Y./University Prep) added 9 points and 5 rebounds, and Ryan Clark (Orlando, FL./South Lake) dominated the glass with a 14 rebound performance.

Finger Lakes' ball movement and defensive stops sealed the road win as the Lakers outscored Roberts Wesleyan in both halves.

The Lakers returned home last evening to face a strong Erie squad, who used a 44-point first half to build early separation in an 84–61 decision in favor of the Kats.

Florence again led the Lakers with 13 points and 3 assists, while George Spinelli (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) added 7 points and 2 steals. Caito contributed 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in a balanced effort.
