Canandaigua, N.Y. - Behind a strong first half, the Lakers pulled away early and never looked back in a 68-56 victory over the Red Barons on the Putt Moore Court.
The Lakers were led by Sophomore guard Ian Florence (Rochester, N.Y./McQuaid) who finished with 12 points and knocked down two three-pointers. The Lakers showed balanced scoring, as Kyle Brooks (Miami, FL. / Palm Bay), Kellen Foster (Newark, N.Y. / Newark), Amir Tashimov (Jacksonville, FL. / Potter's House Christian Academy),and Joe Caito (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) each added eight points.
To round out the scoring, George Spinelli (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) and Ryan Clark (Orlando, FL./ South Lake) contributed seven points apiece.
