Bio
His Plaque Reads: Darrick Heath was the best athlete to attend FLCC. At 6'4" and 215 pounds he possessed a 44 inch vertical leap and 4.4 second speed in the 40 yard dash. The All-Region power forward ranks 5th on the All-Time scoring list. His basketball ability earned him a full scholarship to C.W. Post. Upon completion of his degree he joined the team handball players representing the United States. An August 1993 issue of Sports Illustrated lists Darrick as the "most gifted player in the brief history of the team." He has traveled the world representing the United States and is a shoo-in for the '96 Olympic Team.
After recently playing in the world championships in Sweden, Darrick was recruited by the Budapest, Elektromos for $70,000 to play a 26-game schedule in Europe.
