DeBalso Leads the Way for 22-23 Recruiting Class

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Volleyball team secured its first commit for their 2022-23 inaugural Spring season.

Canandaigua Academy student-athlete AJ DeBalso officially signed his letter of intent to play Volleyball at Finger Lakes Community College for the 2022-23 season.

DeBalso is a 6' Outside Hitter for the Braves of Canandaigua Academy, "we are thrilled to have AJ has our very first Finger Lakes men's volleyball player. We are looking forward to adding more recruits to join AJ as we prepare for the inaugural 22-23 NJCAA Men's' Volleyball season" stated Women's Volleyball Head Coach Andrew Solomon.

For AJ DeBalso, it was an easy decision to choose Finger Lakes, "I've heard nothing but positive comments from people who have attended FLCC, when I first heard there was going to be a Men's Volleyball team, I was going to do whatever it took to become a part of the team". DeBalso added, "I played volleyball at Canandaigua ever since 8th grade and as a Freshman I was pulled up to play varsity".

DeBalso brings experience as the highshool level as the first addition of an exciting first recruiting class for Finger Lakes Community College Men's Volleyball.
