Men Finish 11th at Nationals
Connor Lucas had the high finish for the Lakers crossing the line in 28th place
NORTHFIELD, MA --The Finger Lakes Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed at the NJCAA Division III National Championships hosted by Holyoke Community College. As a team, the Lakers all had solid performances and finished in 11th place.
The Lakers were led by Connor Lucas (28th) who completed the season's most difficult 8k course in 29:47. Lucas was followed by Kevin Schoonmaker (59th), Jon Guzzardi (68th), Greg DeSilva (69th), Brandon Smith (80th), John-Michael Rhodes (81st) and Keith Baley (121st). DeSilva, Smith, Rhodes, and Baley all had personal best times. In total, 17 teams and 130 runners competed in the championships.
