Men's Cross Country Announces 2021 Schedule

CANANDAIGUA — The Finger Lakes Community College men’s cross country team has announced its schedule for the 2021 fall season.

FLCC will kick off its season on Saturday, Sept. 11, traveling to SUNY Cobleskill to compete in the Steven A. Warde Invitational.

The following week, the Lakers return home on Saturday, Sept. 18 to host the annual Bruce Bridgeman Invitational.

The Lakers will also compete in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan College (Sept. 25), the Cazenovia College Homecoming Invitational (Oct. 2), and the Hamilton College Invitational (Oct. 9) before the postseason begins.

The Mid-States Athletic Conference (MSAC) Championships are at Tompkins Cortland Community College on Oct. 23, with FLCC then hosting the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region III Championships on Oct. 30. During the 2020 fall season, the Lakers won the NJCAA Region III Championship.

The season concludes with the NJCAA National Championship, Nov. 13 at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Ga.

The Lakers are coached by Jayden Donahue, who enters his third season leading the cross country program.
