Lakers Open 2025 Cross Country Season at SUNY Oswego Invitational

OSWEGO, N.Y. - Finger Lakes Community College cross country opened its 2025 season at the SUNY Oswego Invitational, held at Fallbrook Recreational Facility on September 6.

On the men's side, Griffin Miller (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) led the Lakers across the line in the 6K, finishing 40th overall with a time of 25:11.8. He was followed by William Andrew (Newark, N.Y./East Palmyra Christian) in 49th at 29:14.8, and freshman Kyan Powers (Seneca Falls, N.Y./Mynderse Academy) in 51st at 30:52.1.

For the women, sophomore Kayla Dunstan (Ontario, N.Y./Wayne) paced the Lakers with a 28th-place finish in the 4K, clocking 22:03.1. Classmate Alana Bedell (Newark, N.Y./Newark) placed 33rd in 26:09.2, while freshman Megan McGregor (Marion, N.Y./Marion) completed the lineup in 34th at 32:20.4.
