The Finger Lakes Community College women's basketball team fell to the Thunder Wolves from Niagara County Community College by a score of 79-61 on Tuesday, November 8. The Lakers drop to 1-2 on the season.
The Lakers were able to stick with the Thunder Wolves through three quarters, trailing only 47-52. However, the Thunder Wolves broke away in the final quarter, outscoring the Lakers 27-14 to clinch victory.
Ranaveya Richards led the Lakers in Tuesday's contest with 21 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Krystal Hunter finished with 13 points and seven rebounds. Janae Brannon had eight points and, 13 rebounds, and seven assists.
The Lakers will return on Saturday, November 12 when they host the Cougars from Clinton Community College at 2pm. Following Saturday's match-up, the Lakers will host North Country Community College on Sunday, November 13 at 1pm.
