Women's Basketball Defeats Herkimer Generals 60-32

On Sunday, December 11, the women's basketball team defeated the Generals from Herkimer College by a score of 60-32.  With the victory, the Lakers extend their win streak to eight and improve their season record to 10-3.

The Lakers played an impressive defensive game in Sunday's contest, holding the Generals to single digit points in three of the four quarters.  By halftime, the Lakers were ahead 25-14.  They would go on to score 35 points in the final two quarters, while holding their opponent to just 18 points. Megan Howell led the Lakers on Sunday with 18 points.  Ranaveya Richard and Janae Brannon finished with 13 points and 12 points, respectively.  

The Lakers will play their final game of the semester this Thursday, December 15 when they host the Kats from Erie Community College.  Tipoff is set for 6pm on Putt Moore Court.
