The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Basketball team fell to the Onondaga Community College Lazers on Sunday, February 19. The Mid-State Athletic Conference match ended with a score of 63-59, dropping the Lady Lakers conference record to 9-3.
The Lady Lakers had a slow start to Sunday's match, ending the first half with a score of 34-25. The Lakers fought hard to tie up the score 46-46 with 45 seconds remaining in the third quarter. However, the Lazers would out score the Lakers 17-13 to claim victory.
Ranaveya Richards led the Lakers with 22 points, three steals, and six rebounds. Krystal Hunter finished with 15 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Megan Howell added 10 points and nine rebounds.
The Lady Lakers will play in the Conference Tournament this Saturday, February 25, the location and times are yet to be determined.
