Women's Basketball Splits Weekend Regional Matchups

CANANADAIGUA, N.Y. - The Lakers women's basketball team picked up a big win on Saturday, January 28th over the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves, before they traveled to Hudson Valley the following day for a showdown with the Vikings.

Against the Vikings, the Lakers were led by freshman Izzy Robson (Newark, N.Y./ Newark) with 12 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. Teammate Georgia Luft (Elba, N.Y./ Elba) ended the afternoon with 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals to round out her afternoon.

The Lakers will enjoy a break before their next matchup at home against the North Country Saints on February 4th. The matchup is slated for a 1 PM start, with live stats and a livestream available here.
