Finger Lakes Community College Athletics is excited to welcome Maureen Loyal as the new head coach of the women’s basketball team. Coach Loyal brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the program with a commitment to the development of student-athletes both on and off the court.

A former captain of the Williams Smith College (Geneva, N.Y.) Herons women's basketball team, Loyal will draw on her experiences as a student-athlete to help guide the Lakers squad. Outside of basketball, Coach Loyal resides in Victor, N.Y., with her husband, Andrew, and their two sons, Cooper, who currently plays Division I baseball for the University of Albany, and Sean, a sophomore at Victor High School. She is the Director of Rehabilitation Services for UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health and holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Under Coach Loyal, the Lakers will look to compete on the court and in the classroom to help shape well-rounded student-athletes who will make a difference in the local community.
