Lloyd Earns Athlete of the Week Honor
CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – Finger Lakes Community College Women's Cross Country student/athlete Leah Lloyd (Macedon, N.Y./ Palmyra-Macedon) has earned the honor of Region III Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Cazenovia College Homecoming.
This is Lloyd's second Athlete of the Week honor on the season, she earned the award for her 2nd place finish at the Cazenovia College Homecoming. She was the top finisher among runners from two-year colleges on the 5k course. Lloyd finished well ahead of any other Region III athletes, adding to her impressive total, with two 1st place finishes as well on the season.
Lloyd and the Women's Cross Country team look to carry over their successes to this coming Saturday, Oct. 9th at the Hamilton College Invitational, the 5k race begins at 11 A.M. Click here to view the recap of Leah Lloyd's Athlete of the Week honor.
