Dunstan Earns All-Region at NJCAA Region III Championship
CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – Finger Lakes Community College hosted the 2025 NJCAA Region III Championship on Saturday, featuring the top cross country programs from across the region. The Lakers turned in several strong finishes on their home course, highlighted by Kayla Dunstan (Ontario, N.Y./Wayne) earning All-Region honors.
In the women's 5K, Dunstan placed fourth overall with a time of 25:13.31, marking the second-best regional finish in program history. Alana Bedell (Newark, N.Y./Newark) also finished inside the top 15, placing 13th in 26:55.10.
On the men's side, William Andrew (Newark, N.Y./East Palmyra Christian) led the Lakers with a 13th-place finish in 32:04.05. Griffin Miller (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua Academy) followed in 16th at 32:29.24, while Kyan Powers (Seneca Falls, N.Y./Mynderse Academy) placed 39th in 43:48.88.

Dunstan advances to the NJCAA Division III National Championship, set for Sunday, November 9th, at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
