The Finger Lakes Community College men's basketball team received their first win of the season in overtime fashion against the Twins from Columbia-Greene Community College on Saturday, November 5 by a score of 77-67.
After finishing regulation tied at 59 points apiece, the Lakers went a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line and outscored the Twins 18-8 in overtime. Jonathan Range led the Lakers in Saturday's contest, receiving his first double double of the season. Range went 9-21 from the floor and 10-11 from the line to record 29 points and 11 rebounds. Shabazz Mosley also finished with a double double for the Lakers, with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Shane Fanning rounded out the Lakers scoring with 12 points against the Twins. Fanning added six rebounds.
The Lakers will face the Thunder Wolves on Tuesday, November 8 in a NJCAA Region III showdown. Tipoff is set for 7:30pm.
