Canandaigua, NY -- The men's basketball team hosted the Cardinals JV squad from Saint John Fisher College on Thursday, December 1. The Lakers claimed victory over the Cardinals by a score of 81-58, improving their record to 4-3 on the season.
The Lakers played very well in Thursday's contest, shooting 54.1% from the floor and 65.0% from the free throw line. They also caused 16 Cardinal turnovers during the course of the contest. Jonathan Range led the Lakers with a double double. He finished with 26 points and 15 rebounds. Shabazz Mosley finished with 20 points, five rebounds, and five steals. Shane Fanning rounded out the Lakers scoring with 10 points.
The Lakers will remain at home this weekend for a pair of Region III match-ups. On Saturday, December 3, the Lakers will host Hudson Valley Community College at 3pm. Following Saturday's contest, the Lakers will host the Timberwolves from SUNY Adirondack Community College on Sunday, December 4 at 2pm.
