The Finger Lakes Community College Men's Basketball team was defeated by the Lazers from Onondaga Community College on Sunday, February 19. The final score, 78-67, would drop the Lakers to a 9-3 conference record.
The Lakers tied it up 26-26 in the first half, with 6:45 left on the clock, but the Lazers would pull ahead 44-30 to end the half. The Lakers would tie it up again in the second half, 67-67, with 4:43 left in the game. However, the Lazers would go on a 10-0 run to claim victory.
Shabazz Mosley led the Lakers with 25 points, six rebounds, and six steals. Jonathan Range finished with a double double, scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Shane Fanning added nine points and four rebounds for the Lakers.
The Lakers will play in the Conference Tournament this Saturday, February 25, the location and times are yet to be determined.
