Lakers Fall to No. 2 Genesee Community College

BATAVIA, N.Y. – The Finger Lakes Community College men's lacrosse team dropped their second consecutive game on Saturday, falling to the second-ranked Genesee Community College Cougars 17-3.

Robert Pelkey scored twice in the defeat. Joshua Spence added the other Finger Lakes Community College goal. Jack Timerson and Albert Thompson each recorded an assist.

John Perrucci turned in another strong performance in goal, compiling 21 saves in 47:12 of action. Matthew Ebanez made three saves on four shot attempts in the remaining 12:48.

The Lakers will return to action today, as they host fifth-ranked SUNY Delhi. The opening faceoff is scheduled for 1p.m. at Laker Lacrosse Field.
