JAMESTOWN, NY -- Freshman Brittany Maggio scored all four goals in Finger Lakes' 4-0 victory over host Jamestown Community College on Wednesday in NJCAA Women's Soccer action. The Lakers improve their regional record to 4-0, holding a 8-3 record overall.
With the four goals, Maggio takes over the national lead in scoring with 19 goals and 41 points. She has scored multiple goals in four of the Lakers last five games. Tonight she was helped out by a variety of Lakers. Brittani Bove found Maggio twice for her team-leading fourth and fifth assists of the season. Valois Feneziani and Alyssa Norman also had assists for Finger Lakes. Daniele Ogrodowski was in goal for the Lakers and recorded her fifth shutout of the season.
The Lakers remain on the road on Saturday when they take on Mid-State Athletic Conference foe Cayuga at 1pm.
