2023 FLCC grad Leah Lloyd from Macedon, N.Y. enjoyed one of the most dominant careers in Lakers women's cross country/track & field. Lloyd's remarkable achievements include being a two-time NJCAA Division III All-American (2021 & 2022) in cross country. During the 2021 cross country season, Lloyd claimed the Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship, NJCAA Region III Championship and went on to earn a 3rd place finish at the NJCAA Division III National Championship. In 2022, despite not winning the regional title, Lloyd went on to finish 6th at the NJCAA Division III National Championships to conclude her cross country career at FLCC.

As a member of the track & field team, Lloyd did not disappoint. At the 2022, NJCAA Region III Championships, Lloyd earned 1st in four different events including the 3000m steeplechase, 800m, 1500m, and 5000m. That same season Lloyd would go on to compete at the NJCAA Division III National Championships where she would claim the programs first National Championship since 2008, finishing 1st in the 3000m steeplechase. Furthermore, Lloyd would place 3rd in the 800m, 2nd in the 5000m, and 2nd in the 1500m, and 3rd in the 4x400m relay. The following season Lloyd would forgo the Region III Championships and go on to win back-to-back national titles in the 3000m steeplechase. Lloyd would earn a 3rd in the 1500m and claim back-to-back All-American honors in the process.

Lloyd goes down in the FLCC record books as one of the most dominant student-athletes in program history with a long list of accolades. Lloyd currently holds program records in the national championship for finish and time, NJCAA Region III Championship for finish and time, and Mid-State Athletic Conferencce Championship for finish and time. Lloyd also holds the FLCC track and field program record in the 3000m steeplechase. At the 2023 FLCC Athletics Banquet, Lloyd was recognized as the Female Athlete of the Year to cap off a historic career.
